Some events are ticketed and some are not. Some have limited seating, and last year a few folks were turned away—so register early! In the past, we’ve done most of the Texas stops first, and then the rest of the country. This year, we’re spreading the Texas stops out a bit. There are TWO Houston events, for example—2 weeks apart. Links to ticketed events below. If you have questions about procedures, please check with the stores!

EVENT DETAILS: Solo talk, Q&A, book signing. Katherine Center will be available after the author discussion to sign and personalize copies of her books. The signing portion will take place back at Lark & Owl Booksellers. Alouette Bistro will be open for drinks and snack service. **If you have already pre-ordered a signed copy of THE ROM-COMMERS from our website, stop in store before the event with your order number and we’ll sign you up for free! Tickets are required in order to attend this event. Optional line dancing class beforehand!

ONE GLORIOUS NIGHT IN GEORGETOWN – TWO DELIGHTFUL EVENTS!!! 

This event in Georgetown has an option to come a little early—at 5:30—before the event for a very easy, super low-key LINE DANCING LESSON (!!!) taught by real line dancing teacher, Britt Beresik of Cross the Line Houston, at the Georgetown Public library! It’s about a block and half from the theater. The class is $5 to cover the room cost. Tickets HERE!   

COME TO GEORGETOWN!!! It’s a 20 minute drive from Austin. Look how cute it is!! I’m making it my personal mission to fill up this gorgeous theater!!! Really, if you are tempted at all to come to this event, DO IT!!! Make a trip out of it! This will be epic, maxiumum fun!! Hope to see you there!!

Each entry purchase includes one (1) entry into the event and one (1) hardcover copy of THE ROM-COMMERS. The event will be standing-room only and seating will be limited, so we recommend that you come early if you want to get a seat. Books and event entry can also be pre-ordered in-person or via phone (713.523.0701) at Brazos Bookstore until 3 p.m. on June 24 unless the event sells out. Event entry purchase will be available at the door, if the event is not sold out. We also encourage carpooling or using Uber/Lyft because parking can be a challenge at our store. Barnes & Noble Southlake is pleased to welcome Katherine Center for a discussion and autograph session for her newest release, The Rom-Commers.

*To attend this event, you will need to reserve and purchase a copy of The Rom-Commers from the Southlake Barnes & Noble location. Call (817-442-0207) or stop by in store to reserve your copy. Books will be available to purchase starting 6/11. Wristbands will be given at the time of purchase in store. Both wristband and book are needed to attend the event. Line-up for discussion seating will begin promptly at 1 pm.  (early line-up for seating will not be possible due to space limitations) Chairs will be first come, first served. The rest will be standing room. Some standing room may have a partially obstructed/totally obstructed view. Final seating will end at 1:50 p.m. for the discussion to begin at 2 p.m.

Katherine will be willing to personalize all copies of The Rom-Commers plus sign additional stock or merchandise.  She is happy to take photos with guests.
