Prevacid (Lansoprazole) belongs to a group of drugs called proton pump inhibitors. Prevacid decreases the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Prevacid is used to treat and prevent stomach and intestinal ulcers, erosive esophagitis (damage to the esophagus from stomach acid), and other conditions involving excessive stomach acid such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
Colospa is used for relief of abdominal pain, cramps, bloating and wind, diarrhoea or constipation associated with irritable bowel syndrome. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

 

Zyban is a prescription medication designed to help smokers quit more easily than without the drug. It comes in a pill form. It does not contain nicotine.
